A Gastronomic Adventure

This is the ULTIMATE LUXURY TOUR For the true "Gourmet". Every detail has been covered to make this the most fabulous experience you could ever expect to have. To the average tourist from North America and even Europe, Argentina remains largely a mythical and undiscovered country. But it is there, patiently waiting to be discovered and explored: the pulsing excitement of Buenos Aires, the wild plains country of the central pampas; the spectacular sweep of Iguazu Falls, the Patagonian glaciers, blue lakes and green valleys. and the most spectacular wine producing region in the world. It is a delightful paradox beckoning the traveler with its unspoiled natural wonders. A combination of great beauty, friendliness, and that special thrill of discovering something completely new, unique, never experienced.

Our Wine Country tour is no exception to the mythical wonders around every corner. In just a short 5 days we will visit the two most productive grape growing regions in Argentina. Argentina is recognized world wide for its fine wines. This beautiful area of Argentina is known for its temperate, Mediterranean climate. It is Argentina's "fruit basket" and it is the perfect environment for the production of all types of wine. Perhaps this is one reason why Argentina Wine is now sought after in the best restaurants of Europe and the US.

Because Argentina is situated in the Southern Hemisphere, summer extends from November to March with daytime temperatures averaging 23 degrees centigrade (76F). In winter, which runs from June to August, the average daytime temperature is 12 degrees centigrade (54F).Mendoza is also a great place to shop. A great selection of fine and exclusive merchandise can be found: furs, antiques and silverware, shoes, suede and leather apparel, jewelry, cashmeres and woolens, regional crafts. On the other hand, Buenos Aires, with its thousands of high quality shops, is the place to find French designer boutiques, modern galleries and sophisticated shopping malls.

After a relaxing day in downtown Buenos Aires, you will be picked up around 8 pm to go to a Tango Show and Dinner. There are many tango shows in Buenos Aires but The Querandi where you will go is in our opinion, the best. The show is a choreographed history of how Tango was born in Buenos Aires and evolved to today's sensual dance.Return to hotel at midnight.
